HERE are some tips to keep your Facebook account safe and secure
- SELECT A STRONG PASSWORD
Selecting a strong password means what?? It means it must be unique, long(around eight or more words) and Alphanumeric(Alphabets along with numbers).
It should not include your name date of birth or any other easily accessible information.
Don not include any Common word in your password. eg (tommy,12345) etc.
- USE A SECURED AND RELIABLE BROWSER
some well known secured and reliable browsers are Chrome, mozilla firefox, Safari etc.
- DON'T USE YOUR PASSWORD ANYWHERE ELSE ON INTERNET
SO TO OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM always check for HTTPS//(secured) or green lock which indicates the secured sign and enter password in original facebook app or website.
- SCAN FOR VIRUS IN YOUR DEVICE

- LOG OUT EVERY TIME YOU LOG IN
Your Personal device is not that personal, it can easily reveal many informations about you with an ease. so always log out after using your account and if you forget to log out then log out REMOTELY
HOW TO LOG OUT REMOTELY
Manage where you’re logged into Facebook in Security and Login Settings. The Where You’re Logged In section lists where you’re currently logged in. Each entry includes a date, time, location and device etc.
To log out of Facebook on another computer, phone or tablet:
- go to your Security and Login Settings.
- go to the section Where You're Logged In. You may have to click See More to see all of the sessions where you're logged in.
- Find the session you want to end. Click
and then click Log Out.
Clicking Log Out will immediately log you out of Facebook on that device.
